I had my first bean harvest of the year! It won’t be the last as there’s at least enough beans for still one more good harvest.

I harvested three varieties: Alabama Black-Eyed Butter Lima, Christmas Pole Lima, and California Black-Eyed Cowpea.

The crowd favorite was the Alabama Lima bean. They were so sweet and buttery my 2-year-old son was eating them raw.
